As we say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021, we would like to take some time to stop and reflect on all that we were able to accomplish last year. One of the biggest projects we took on in 2020 was when we completely refreshed our logo, website, and social media presence to better reflect who we are today. As part of this, we launched a bi-monthly newsletter and revived our personal blog where we share helpful marketing tips along with the occasional client story. With so many moving parts, we found it meaningful to keep a close eye on our progress in the months to follow including which blogs performed the best to ensure that we continue to post about topics that are relevant to our audience. Our third most viewed blog post of 2020 was our WP Engine partnership announcement. In this blog, we discussed all of the new WordPress resources available to us as a result of this opportunity as well as how we can use these tools to help our clients in future projects.
This app serves as an all inclusive digital headquarters for our business allowing us to track our weekly tasks, manage ongoing projects, and communicate status updates within our team as well as with our clients. Aside from covering how we use this software to boost efficiency, we also discussed our favorite features as well as a few tips and tricks that we have learned over the years in this blog.
Our top most viewed blog post of 2020 was our Olympia Downtown for the Holidays highlight. This Shop & Dine promotion began at the end of November on Small Business Saturday and continued throughout the Holiday season until Christmas Eve. This blog announced our sponsorship of this event put on by the Olympia Downtown Alliance and discussed more information on how to participate.
Vanessa started as an intern with us back in March of 2019. Through this experience she gained skills in blog post writing, social media managing, event planning, video production, photography, and newsletter publication that ultimately lead to her current position as a Content Creator at Rare Digital.
