Content Calendar ManagementTools For Blog & Social Media Posts
Life moves quick. If you’re not careful, you might miss it. In order to make sure we keep up with the fast pace, we use a few tools to help us stay up to date & connected with our followers.
Trello – Content Calendar
Our Content Calendar in Trello helps us organize all of our upcoming posts: Instagram & Facebook, newsletter launches, and blog entries. Trello allows us to assign certain tasks to multiple members of our team, so that we all remain on the same page, without countless texts or emails.
We can set due dates, add attachments, and make comments directly on each individual task. The calendar view gives a broader picture of whats been done & whats to come, which is great for future planning. Trello can be accessed from any browser, or mobile device and updates in real time. We highly recommend Trello to stay on task!
Buffer – Schedule Future Posts
To maintain a healthy social presence, your followers need to see new content from you frequently. Buffer provides a platform to schedule future posts on your social media outlets. Simply create your content, and select the date & time – Buffer will do the rest. Facebook and Twitter posts can be scheduled to auto post at a future date & time, and you can set reminders for Instagram.
Unsplash – Locating Stock Images
Unspalsh houses countless high resolution photos for your to use at your discretion. We use the stock photos on Unsplash for our Website, blog posts, newsletters & social media. Unsplash is organized by category, and makes finding the perfect shot easy. Plus, it’s free!
Pocket – Articles to Read Later
Pocket allows us to save things we’d like to view later, conveniently in one place. If we stumble upon something that would make a good article or social media post, but we don’t have the time to create either immediately, we simply add it to our Pocket. When we’re ready to create, inspiration is at our fingertips.
These are the four applications we use to help keep our content calendar in check. What do you find useful to maintain a healthy online & social media presence? Let us know on social media.
